Established in 2008, V&M Naturals is a brand dedicated to formulating products made of all-natural ingredients. They initially sold their products online, but after 10 years, they’ve expanded to selling in mall kiosks. I first got acquainted with V&M Naturals back in 2012, when I tried and reviewed their Lip Butter Tint.
Before leaving for Hong Kong last week, I dropped by the Benibana Beauty Hub in San Juan to check out the newly released V&M Naturals Specialty Hair Care Line. Having bleached portions of my hair for the first time when I went for Piandre Salon’s Seamless Balayage, it was a tad drier than usual. That said, I wanted to see what this line could do for me.
First there’s the Lichen + Coffee Shampoo (P750) and the Lichen + Coffee Conditioner (P850). Both are sulfate-free, which is better for colored and/or chemically treated hair. These cleanse and condition the hair without stripping away its natural oils. Other ingredients like yogurt protein, Emu oil, and coffee extracts detoxify while stimulating collagen production for stronger, hydrated, and more manageable hair.
Next is the V&M Naturals Hair I Am Booster (P580). This is spritzed on the hair after washing. It’s formulated with ingredients like Green Tea, Rosemary, Perilla Leaf, and Chameleon plant to strengthen weak hair follicles. Prolonged use makes hair softer, smoother, and more shiny.
Last but not least is the Voila Locks Deep Repair Hair Masque (P580). This intensive treatment mask targets damage caused by chemical treatments and heat styling. It’s formulated with Coconut Oil, Keratin, Argan Oil, Emu Oil, and Alpine Lichen extract to help revitalize hair.
So this was the state of my hair prior to trying out the V&M Naturals Specialty Hair Care Line. It’s pretty dry at the ends and the bleached portions.
I had the works — shampoo, conditioner, booster, and masque.
They even timed the duration of the masque on my hair. It was rinsed off afterwards and then my hair was dried with a blower.
This is my hair before and after the treatment. As you can see, the strands are more shiny and moisturized. My hair was incredibly soft and smooth. The color looked brighter too! Can’t wait to start using this at home. I’m very happy with the products’ effect on my hair. I recommend this line to hair that’s subjected to coloring, heat styling, and other chemical processes.
